In many anime, there is a opening theme and an ending theme. Kuroko no Basket has two sets of opening and ending themes per season. In the first season, the band GRANRODEO played the theme song for both openings, “Can Do” and “RIMFIRE” respectively. The endings of season one included: “Start it right away” by Hyadain, and “CATALRHYTHM” by OLDCODEX. In the second season, GRANRODEO played both opening themes again; they are called “The Other Shelf” and “Hengen Jizai no Magical Star.” OLDCODEX played “WALK” while Tetsuya Kuroko’s voice actor or seiyū, Kenshō Ono voiced the song “FANTASTIC TUNE” for the ending themes of season two. For season three, GRANRODEO is only playing the first opening theme for the anime. It is called “Punky Funky Love.” The other opening song, called “ZERO,” is sung by Kenshō Ono. This is the first time GRANRODEO is not playing the opening song for Kuroko no Basket. The two endings for season three are “GLITTER DAYS” by Fo'xTails, and “Ambivalence” by SCREEN mode. The song, Ambivalence, is sung by Yū Hayashi, who is the voice actor of Kuroko’s childhood friend. Ambivalence and ZERO will open and close the later episodes of season three together to symbolise the friendship between Kuroko and Shigehiro Ogiwara.
